Tara Ochs

Actress, Comedy Improviser, Voice-over Artist

Tara Ochs is an actress, comedy improviser and voice-over artist based out of Atlanta. Her film work includes portraying Viola Liuzzo in the film “Selma,” which inspired a personal journey to better understand her role as an artist in the modern day civil rights movement. From this came her first one-woman show, “White Woman in Progress,” which breaks open the conversation surrounding privilege, race and social justice today. The show attempts to share Tara’s personal journey and inspire others to consider a call to activism and service. Her previous work includes several TV, film and commercial credits, more than 60 audiobooks, and performances as a comedian with The Second City in Chicago, and companies in Los Angeles, Atlanta, London and Berlin.

Tara will be performing her one-woman show on Monday, June 19, at the Convention Center. Please register to attend.

What Others Are Saying

The emphasis on cross-sector collaboration was eye-opening, and everyone I met walked away with fresh perspectives and ideas. It broke down the silos of inward-facing sectors and showed us how much more powerful our work can be when we come together. An unbeatable experience!

The conference proved to be one of the most engaging and exciting professional gatherings of like-minded people I've ever attended. Although the topics, content, and presentations all appropriately centered around volunteering and service in some way, the sheer range of them was simply astounding.
