Kim Smith serves as Capgemini’s North America chief digital officer and corporate social responsibility officer, overseeing the digital portfolio strategy, go-to-market, digital marketing priorities, and digital employee experiences. Additionally, she oversees the North America applied digital innovation exchange lab experiences, including access to the full suite of Capgemini digital capabilities as well as start-up engagement, accelerators, and offerings. She drives the digital innovation agenda, which empowers Fortune 500 organizations through nascent technologies to redefine themselves, radically grow, and extend their reach by re-envisioning customer experiences, employee engagement, operational processes, and business models critical to driving profitability via digital transformation in the vertical marketplaces they serve.

Kim has more than 30 years of experience managing innovation through business solutions and enterprise technology initiatives across Fortune 1000 companies and public sector organizations worldwide while demonstrating outstanding thought leadership, people management, strategic planning, and technology integration capabilities. She was the global head of digital services innovation at Adobe, and held executive positions over 12 years at Microsoft Corporation. Kim has sold and delivered more than $500+ million in product, consulting and support engagements, managing small and large implementation teams (600+) inclusive of global partnerships specifically focused on digital customer experiences, Internet of Things, predictive analytics, cloud, social, mobile, and end-to-end digital solutions across a spectrum of industries worldwide. She has received recognition for outstanding performance through sales and service delivery excellence awards and executive bench programs and led women’s leadership councils across multiple Fortune 500 companies. Most recently, she has joined the Ideagen Impact and Thought Leadership Council, partnering with the United Nations in support of Sustainable Development Goals 2030.

Kim received a bachelor’s degree in business administration and a minor in international business from the University of Delaware. She has represented the Boys and Girls Clubs of America advisory board in Washington State, has received numerous leadership and industry awards, has been recognized through patented innovation in the area of innovative, strategic business consulting, and was part of the Junior Achievement SUCCESS NOW executive leadership team recognized through the Presidential Thousand Points of Light. She and her family reside in Seattle.
