Jackie Parker

As General Motors' Director of Global Philanthropy and Corporate Giving, Jackie Parker leads the company's efforts to improve the communities in which it has business operations, employees and customers. By globalizing and leveraging GM's giving around the world, Jackie's top priority is to drive true impact through meaningful charitable partnerships.

Mrs. Parker joined General Motors in December 2015 after founding a successful consulting firm in her hometown of Atlanta, JWP Consulting, where she strategized with companies to develop sound corporate social responsibility programs and helped nonprofits achieve stronger results.

Jackie brings with her a wealth of significant professional experience, having previously worked for Newell Rubbermaid where she served as President of the Newell Rubbermaid Foundation and Vice President of Corporate Philanthropy. During her tenure, Jackie also served as Vice President of Inclusion and Diversity. Prior to her work at Newell Rubbermaid, she served as Director of Inclusion and Diversity for Russell Athletic Corporation. With a vast corporate background, Jackie previously held positions with PepsiCo, Nabisco Foods, Campbell Soup Company and Quaker Oats.

Mrs. Parker has also been recognized by her peers for her work. She has been named a Company and Executive Women Worth Watching Award Winner by the Diversity Journal; she is included in Atlanta Daily World Magazine's Women of Excellence; Atlanta Technical College awarded her the Bridge Builder Award and she has also been named an IMPACT Leader by Atlanta's Business-to-Business Magazine. Other recognitions include High Heels to High Places Award - Trumpet Awards; Top 100 Most Influential Blacks in Corporate America by Savoy Magazine; and Who's Who in Atlanta's 32 Most Powerful Females.

Jackie holds an MBA in marketing from Johns Hopkins University and a bachelor's degree in marketing from Hampton University. She also earned a Corporate Citizenship Certificate from Boston College's Center for Corporate Citizenship. A natural-born leader and teacher, Jackie is a certified professional co-active coach.
